Richard L. Chatfield




This memorial card had Richard's obituary tucked inside.  It appears in the The Daily Telegram, published in Adrian, Lenawee County, Michigan, date undetermined.

The obituary is included here, except for the survivors list.

TIPTON - - Richard L. Chatfield age 60 of Tipton, passed away suddenly on June 3, 2004 at his niece's home. He was born on October 5, 1943, the son of Orval and Viola (Swartz) Chatfield.

Richard was a graduate of Onsted High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He worked for Tecumseh Products and was also a very well known farmer in Tipton.  Dick enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was known for growing beautiful flowers, especially dahlias.  He was a very caring gentleman and will sadly be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Funeral services for Richard will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 7, 2004 at Braun Everiss Wagley Funeral Home with Rev. Fritz Kruse officiating.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be today, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  and on Monday, from 11:00 until time of the service at Braun Everiss Wagley Funeral Home.
